Think Beyond and the West Cheshire & North Wales Chamber of Commerce held the first Lunch & Learn Power Hour on 28th March 2023 at the Ramada Plaza in Wrexham. The one-hour session was sponsored and run by multi-award-winning management consultancy, Think Beyond, and explored innovation, change and transformation. Steven and Mercè Cozens, co-founders, covered key topics including strategic planning, market profiling and neuroscience.
The learning part
Of course, the clue is in the name. The Lunch & Learn Power Hour condensed 6 topics into 1 hour. We covered strategic planning, business transformation, assurance, market sizing, lead generation and neuroscience. With both Mercè and Steven presenting parts of the session, their were differing perspectives and some audience involvement. And, why did we choose these topics? These were not accidental and all are popular pillars of the Think Beyond proposition. As a management consultancy, we offer an external view to get the best from your business.
Strategic planning prevents employees from creating unlimited amounts of work – ‘busy fools’ working to vague goals and without plans. Real change and transformation requires a long, hard look at what you can achieve and what you need to make change happen. Assurance makes sure that your organisation is running at it’s optimal best. Market sizing reduces your target audience (in B2B) to those who most fit your ideal customer profile. Lead generation showed why there remains scope to improve ABM and your sales & marketing funnel. Finally, neuroscience added the cherry on top of the cake with tools to understand perception and bias.
Our thoughts on the Lunch & Learn Power Hour
Think Beyond were both honoured and thrilled to present the very first Lunch & Learn Power Hour at the West Cheshire & North Wales Chamber of Commerce business lunch at the Ramada Plaza in Wrexham. Mercè and Steven, the co-founders, presented a number of topics to the many businesses who stayed on for the extra hour. We really enjoyed the event and would like to thank the team at WCNW Chamber of Commerce for their support. In particular, we would like to thank Jennifer Kennedy and Matthew Hodgson who were key in making the event a success.
Hopefully, we did the concept justice and will see other businesses sponsor this fabulous initiative within this business community. A new member said, “it took me right back to when I studied business at university”. One said that “it was like MBA bingo” and another said, “I learnt much more than I thought I would – really enjoyed it”. Finally, “it was a lot to take in but it was really informative”.
